I bought my first vacation rental in the Orlando area with dreams of creating something magical for my family. I wanted a place near Disney where my kids could build core memories and where I could welcome other families from around the world to do the same. But managing it? That was another story.

I struggled to find a property management company that cared about my home as much as I did. Communication was slow. Guests weren’t happy. Revenue was underwhelming. And every time I needed something—whether it was a pricing update or a maintenance call—I was met with delays, rotating reps, or worse, silence.

Hi, I’m Mike Chen, founder of FunStay Florida. I’m a licensed Realtor, seasoned Airbnb Superhost, and vacation rental investor with over a decade of experience. I’ve hosted thousands of guests and managed a growing portfolio of homes across Orlando, Kissimmee, Davenport, and top resort communities like Windsor Island and ChampionsGate.
